About the Artist
Jason Raso is a bassist/composer. His debut album "THE BASSMAN COMETH" is now available. His sophomore release "Live On Planet Bop" is now available. Jason's musical influences have grown to include jazz great Miles Davis, The Beatles, Sly & The Family Stone, Stevie Wonder and the musical genius Prince. Jason describes his own music as a "melting pot of different styles using bass as the common thread". Jason's goal is to help make the bass more of a legitimate solo instrument. Jason also teaches bass at a local music store.
