Flora Purim is the critically acclaimed Brazilian-jazz vocalist who has been making excellent albums for over three decades. In the late 70's she made three outstanding albums for Warner Bros. records, none of which have been issued on CD until now. Wounded Bird Records proudly presents Carry On originally released in 1979. Produced by George Duke, he is also featured on keyboards. Also featured are her husband, Airto, plus Al Jarreau, Joe Farrell, Ronnie Foster, Bobby Lyle & Michael Sembello. It features a rousing rendition of Jeff Beck's 'Freeway Jam'. 2002.
