Who is The Jinx Motive? A quintet based out of Boston playing a contemporary brand of jam music: Vocals included, yet instrumentally equipped. Expect interesting and catchy tunes as much as funky, jazz-influenced improvisations.

Traveling from their home base of Boston throughout New England and New York, The Jinx Motive has been getting its name and sound out there. As they have toured more and more, the band's live chemistry and improvisation has emerged as a key component of The Jinx Motive experience. Weaving organically between tightly composed tunes and onstage explorations, The Jinx Motive can push the musical envelope and yet remain accessible to a broad audience.

The Jinx Motive is steadily becoming a "must see" live act on the New England jazz and jam scene. Only two years young, you may have seen them sharing the stage with bands such as Particle, The Motet, Deep Banana Blackout, The Allmighty Senators, The Miracle Orchestra and Uncle Sammy.
