About the Artist
Based out of the Baltimore/Washington DC area, a group of seasoned musicians have come together to form The Josh Russell Quintet. This excellent group is comprised of bassist, Josh Russell, saxophonist, Scott Paddock, trumpeter, Tom Williams, drummer, Mike Shepherd and pianist Bob Strain. Their debut album, Kakaki Sketch, is an upbeat creative mixture of Jazz genres with tasty piano solos, energetic trumpet, and intimate saxophone. It was written and produced by Josh Russell in his first attempt to bring his music to a larger audience.
