About the Artist
Ryan Montana developed his big bold sound in the high altitudes and pure air of the Rocky Mountains. His unique sound was then honed and refined by years of studying and performing on the East Coast. In his various roles, including as a band member and the musical director of a major university big band, Ryan has toured and performed throughout the United States and Europe.

Over the years of performing, Ryan found his talents extending to marrying thoughtful lyrics to his musical compositions. In his debut CD "A Dance Called Life" is Ryan Montana’s first publicly available synthesis of music and lyrics that, as anyone can easily hear, defy simple categorization.

On "A Dance Called Life", originals are complemented with select covers to provide balance of high energy songs and soulful ballads. His vocal stylings mimic his horn playing – from peaks of intensity to silky smoothness. A prolific writer, Ryan Montana is already working on his follow up to "A Dance…"
