About the Artist
From 1992-1995, Michael Ruhl Performed weekly at the elagant Crown Room at the world-renowned Hotel Del Coronado. From 1995-1999, he traveled the globe as a featured vocalist with Holland-American Cruise Lines. When not on the high-seas, he continued to appear at the "Hotel Del" and other local venues. Michael now performs throughout the year with several local bands: "Variations," a five-piece swing band; "City Rhythm Band," a jazz trio; "Coastal Cities Jazz Band," a sixteen-piece performance ensemble; and with "Coastal Communities Concert Band," a seventy-piece performance group. Michael appears as guest performer with the concert band locally and in Europe.
