She recently moved to WVOF88.5FM in Fairfield, Ct. as co-host with Jeffrey C. Williams of "AT THE RITZ!," covering swing, big band, jazz, cabaret and Sinatra. As a performer, she has appeared in many of the areas finest cabarets and supper clubs including the Oak Room at The Algonquin Hotel, Arcis, Judys and Dannys Skylight Room. Product Description
Back in the heyday of the Big Band era, the trade journals would conduct pools, allowing readers to vote for their favorite "sweet" and "swing" band. "Sweet" connoted a somewhat sentimental sound, while swing referred to a harder driving beat with instrumental solos. This CD is a collection of carefully chosen songs inspired by those bands of the 30s and 40s, and the popular music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's.
