The long awaited album by Nina Hynes "STAROS" has already been described as a collection of mood altering electro pop folk songs. At times dreamy, trippy and mellow, other times upbeat and quirky. Some compositions include samples and electronic beats mixed with both breathy and dynamic vocals and lush string and horn arrangements while others are sparkly guitar pop songs with a live garage edge. Soulful and playful at the same time.

The album is full of songs she's been writing over the past two years. Fans of Nina's first release 'Creation' definitely won't be disappointed. The album is filled with amazing sounds, huge emotion, love songs, loss songs, lush songs, pop songs and some intriguing edgier moments.

The first single "Mono Prix" was re-mixed by the legendary Steve Osborne (Perfecto), whose recent work includes New Orders' latest album "Get Ready" and tracks by Doves, U2, Elbow, Placebo and PJ Harvey among many, many others. The single was recorded and produced in France by Nina and ex-Frames member David Odlum.
