written after an extremely painful relationship- the ep has a theme- falling into love and then feeling lost in it to the point where you don't know why you are still with that person but you feel obligated to stay. bridging the genres of ethereal/alternative & world-beat; this release captures the honesty of emotions pure and simple- through songs like "as we fall" - simply delicious alternative-electro with gorgeous female vocals, to "amongst" - exceptional worldbeat comparable to delerium/deep forest, to ilbient/trip hop "then and now" - a chillout song to get you ready for the next song "drifting towards the sky" - a powerhouse combining ethereal and ambient textures with massive synths and a complex beat, "falter" a song that maria makes her own, "dust" - a dream like excursion, and "until" - an uplifting what-if kind of song- this is the one that has been compared to the cure---- all in all, this release will be a wonderful addition to anyone's cd collection-
