A strong disc demonstrating that folks in the Great Northwest looking for a good time would do well to check out Happy Savage.

<"b00004z4l62999"> About the Artist
HAPPY SAVAGE is the Seattle-based band led by guitarist Luke Painter. Happy Savage likes to get people hopping with funked-up blues, rock, reggae, and jams that boldly go where no jam has gone before! Happy Savage performs many original songs, with lyrics that are mostly about peace, love, trees, human beings, or the end of the world as we know it.

<"b00004z4l64999"> Album Description
"Treehugger", the first studio release from Happy Savage, displays the bands musical versatility, from the world beat sound of "Hard World", to the hard rock of "Treehuggers" and "Foxes", to the folk rock of "Mother's Arms" and "Sophia". Dancers like the music, people who listen to the words like the lyrics, in a well-rounded album with a strong good-time vibe. The title "Treehugger" is supported by environmentally friendly lyrics, and the whole album exudes the spirit expressed in the Happy Savage slogan "peace, love, trees".
