This album is very similar to what you might hear if you combined a release from sToa, BlackTapeforaBlueGirl & InTheNursery.

Depending on the mood of the listener, this can be heart-rendingly beautiful, spellbinding, utterly addictive, and even sublimely soothing.

The album starts out slow and mellow and builds to a climax of orchestrated and powerful pieces and gradually drifts off to a beautiful ending. The slower, more acoustic-sounding tracks with various piano and minimal synths are in the vain of sToa and Black Tape for a Blue Girl sounds. "Lonely in Heaven" has a flute solo that is beautiful and falls exactly in this realm of etheral masterpiece. However, for me the best tracks are the powerfully orchestrated pieces such as "Without You" and "Cathedral". This latter track takes the performance a step further and adds some percussion and extra electronics that add a little more body to the song. Several other songs follow this pattern of orchestration mixed with electronics and some percussion. All of this combined forms a very nice masterpiece. "yearning" is the finale to this wonderful demo with an absolutely beautiful piano solo almost entirely throughout. Fans of Black Tape for a Blue Girl's album "Remnants of a! Deeper Purity" will absolutely love this cd.
