According to Corky, they recorded the album live to "spread the fun. We have such a good time on tour, and the audience has such a good time, we wanted to share that joy and bring the listeners with us."

When asked which side of Chamber Blues – blues or classical – is his favorite, Corky Siegel responds, "What do you prefer – breathing in or breathing out? All forms of music came from at least two other forms of music. I’m just continuing the tradition."
