Norton Buffalo, a fine Bay Area harmonica player long affiliated with rocker Steve Miller, and occasional partner Rogers dispense winsome acoustic music, mostly original, that often has a pronounced blues slant. Every time Rogers's vocals begin to wear out their welcome, his lightly textured guitar or Buffalo's variegated harp sets things right. They've feelingly arranged Reverend Robert Wilkins's "Heaven Sittin' Down." -- © Frank John Hadley 1993
