Live in Chicago [Live]

Live in Chicago was recorded at two shows, one at the Hothouse in 1994, the other at Buddy Guy's Legends in 1995.... The sound varies between the two venues, with inferior recording equipment giving the Hothouse sides a slightly muddy quality. And the audience is mixed too far down throughout the disc, resulting in an almost total loss of the ambience of a live recording. Still, everything is listenable.... With a vocal and guitar style rooted in the blues of the contemporary Mississippi Delta ... [this album] faithfully documents a couple of performances that left no style untouched.
