"Rob Stone is very good on harp-- sounding like the old Chicago harp masters Little Walter, Junior Wells, and Big Walter Horton. He has a great voice and stage presence."

ROB STONE
Harmonica
As a Boston-born (12-25-71)musician, unsatisfied with his violin, piano or guitar attempts, an underage Rob Stone snuck into a blues club to hear the great harmonica player Charlie Musselwhite. Stone bought his first harmonica the next day, taught himself the instrument off of classic records, and soon began studying harmonica with such masters as Jerry Portnoy (former member of Muddy Waters' band and currently playing with Eric Clapton).

Fresh, energetic, unique interpretation of traditional blues. Heavily influenced by blues greats of the 1950s and 60s. This CD demonstrates that all Chicago blues need not sound the same.
