On this straight ahead CD Bill and his trio explore a rich sweep of jazz moods through tasty interpretations of jazz classics and some excellent originals. Bill’s piano is at times driving, swinging, bluesy, funky and at other times rich, warm and reflective, revealing a wide range of jazz roots that crosses the usual genre borders. Taste and thoughtfulness are in ample evidence throughout. Bill recorded "Out of The Blue" with internationally known drummer Keith Copeland and top Danish bassist Jesper Bodilsen at Focus Sound Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark with percussionist/producer Emmanuel Abdul Rahim as engineer.
