The 24-year-old has been playing throughout the U.S. since his early teens, most frequently in the New York City area. He is a native of Fairfield County, Connecticut, a bordering region of New York. Davis recently performed as a solo act on several occasions in southern Europe, most notably the Macalle Blues Festival in Italy and the Bellinzona Blues Festival in Switzerland, where he shared a bill with legendary blues performers Koko Taylor and John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. Davis has also opened shows for such classic entertainers as Richie Havens, J. Geils, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Mountain, and Jorma Kaukonen.

His first album, "Cryin' the Blues," a collection of acoustic performances of both original and traditional blues, has maintained steady airplay and sales in the U.S. and Europe since its independent release in 1995. FAIRFIELD COUNTY WEEKLY: "Blue Streak: Some people have the blues from the get-go and Davis Coen is one of them." by Stefanie Ramp.
