Fort Worth, Texas band The Juke Jumpers were one of the hottest Texas acts in the early-to-mid 1980s througout Texas and the midwest. Playing a mixture of jump blues, blues, rockabilly, swing and rock and roll they blasted through bars and honky tonks such as the Bluebird in Fort Worth, the Zoo Bar in Lincoln, Fitzgerald's in Houston, Madame Wong's in L.A., The Bottom Line in New York, and blues festivals in Europe. They recorded five LPs and a appeared on a few more backing bluesmen Robert Ealey, Kenny Wayne, and east cost rocker Larry Stone.
