Kevin Krieg's "Family and Friends" combines traditional blues and jazz elements with an overall rock 'n roll vibe. The St. Louis native teams up with some of the hottest players in Los Angeles to create a unique sound full of fun and exciting energy. The sessions include blistering piano work from grammy nominated keyboardist Rob Mullins. Krieg's guitar playing and singing cover a range of original songs featuring the rocking opening jazz/blues shuffle "Best Thing In Town", the humourous old school r&b tune "Love At First Sight", and the warm, upbeat groove track "Every Day, Every Way". Everyone is all-out wailing on the ode to bayou fun, "Hello New Orleans". Good time music, with inspiring performances by all.
