As he has for years, Milton sings in the present decade with just the right blend of sensitivity and inner anguish; he also continues to shade textures and explore the grottos of his range. Two originals concerning illicit love and its accompany mg discomposure, 'A Right to Sing the Blues" and "I'm Jealous of Her Husband," best live up to the disc title-not to say that songs from Bobby Womack, George Jackson, and others aren't involving too.
