These recordings were compiled from rare 45 rpm discs capturing John Lee Hooker in his early career serving up some previously hard to find singles with heartfelt vocals and raw "brass knuckle" blues guitar work. These Recordings though sometimes rough due the limitations of early recording technology are being presented here due to their historical significance. Although we have done our best to re master these recordings for compact disc some surface noise may appear. Any fan of John Lee Hooker would enjoy this captivating record of his early work.
