You Could Have It All
Editorial Reviews Nominated twice for a Bay Area Music Award (Bammie), she has long been recognized for her ability to reach audiences and pull them out of their seats. Spending the early part of her career as a blues bandleader, Pamela then became a featured vocalist with the well-known Motown revue Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra. In recent years, she recorded two jazz and swing records with pianist Nate Ginsberg. These records were received enthusiastically in Europe, and Rose was invited to headline a number of jazz festivals over there. I hope this CD makes you, the listener, want to dance in your living room, buy some Jimmy McGriff records and hunt down the local clubs that still have a Hammon B-3 organ. And though I know this effort isnt perfect, I do hope we managed to make it real. Pamela Rose Three-Handed Records

As a singer who loves both blues and jazz, Ive had a hankering to make an organ record. Most organ records are instrumental, so my next challenge was to write new songs and lyrics. When Jimmy Pugh (Etta James, Robert Cray, Strokeland Superband) agreed to produce this project and wrestle with the recording complexities we all relaxed and followed his injunction to make it real, not perfect.
