Editorial Reviews About the Name Wine, Wine, Wine In 1956 in Dallas, TX., a group of kids who called themselves the Nightcaps, enjoyed regional fame playing blues and had a hit song called "Wine, Wine, Wine." The lead guitar player, David Swartz, who influenced many great Texas musicians, had a particular influence on Linda Freeman, his niece.
