Don't Let the Bossman Get You Down!
Editorial Reviews
<"b0000009zs5228"> From Grove Press Guide to Blues on CD
Let Bishop ruin your day instead. This time around his guitar flourishes are excessively self-conscious, his songs are an indifferent lot-weighted with forced aw-shucks humor-and his vocals are barnyard slop. The regeneration of Jimmy McCracklin's "Steppin' " is the saving grace. -- © Frank John Hadley 1993
