Hot Shot
Editorial Reviews If Little Mike doesn't take any chances, he does at least know the ropes. The vocals aren't always pretty, the harp playing sometimes lacks fluidity, and the keyboards need to be more conspicuous to give this band's sound some variety. But the guitar lines are clean and the beat is catchy.

[T]here's nothing here you haven't heard before, though it's certainly pleasant listening to no-frills, harmonica-based blues. Little Mike's songwriting mines age-old themes ... and while the arrangements of the songs are solid, the style is always familiar, whether a ballad ... 12-bar blues ... or a jump tune.
