Formed in January '97, The Swingin' Swamis perform an eclectic set of jazz and world rhythms.

Their unique stylings have caught the attention of many Maryland institutions, including: The Downtown Partnership, Maryland Art Place (MAP), The Enoch Pratt Free Library, The Preakness Celebration, The Chocolate Affair, The Jewish Museum of Maryland, The Baltimore Museum of Art, The Walter’s Art Museum, Root’s Café, The Mechanic Lounge, The Annapolis Yacht Club, The Fells Point Creative Alliance and many others. In other cities: The Ronald Reagan Center in Washington D.C., RiskMetrics Corporation (Wall Street, New York City).

The Swamis have also provided the soundtrack for numerous weddings, festivals and private parties.

Their roster currently includes: Snackie Hillman (keyboard, guitar, and vocals), Eddie Chabot (bass, vocals), Zak Fusciello (drums), John Dierker ( tenor sax, clarinet) and Ron Spencer (guitar, vocals)
