Rebecca Cole is a Washington, D.C. area native who began her musical career at age seven. She started writing songs in college and has since developed her own style of folk-influenced blues. Her influences include The Staple Singers and Mahalia Jackson, Eva Cassidy and Bonnie Raitt. Rebecca's strong and gritty solo acoustic performaces provide the audience with an intimate, honest listening experience.

Perhaps most notable is the wide variety of venues in which Rebecca has honed her performances. These include tapas bars in Spain, the U.S. Capitol, and throughout Texas.

Rebecca recently released her debut CD entitled Drink the Rain. She currently lives in Austin, Texas where she is pursuing her musical career.

An eclectic mix of hearfelt gospel, earthy blues and hook-laden pop, Rebecca Cole's Drink the Rain heralds the arrival of a distinctive new musical voice. Music straight from the heart and at once introspective and exuberant plus great guitar work and backing vocals from special guest artist and local legend Carolyn Wonderland.
