As subdued and reflective as ever, the former Chicago musician is in fine shape on this recent Dutch session. Robinson draws heavily on jazz influences for inspiration during his complex guitar solos, and his rich vocals on a number of remakes of obscure 45s from earlier in his career, including "Crying the Blues" and "Find a Way," are consistently satisfying.
