Assembled by guitarist Jimmie Lee Robinson, the "Lost American Bluesmen" are a group of former Chicago sidemen who left the music business for day jobs after disco all but shut down the blues scene in the early 1970s.... The honor of opening and closing this set goes to 71-year-old Sleepy Otis Hunt ... Robinson also contributes guitar and bass parts to most cuts.... Hats off to everyone involved in this project, which is as satisfying as it is worthy.
