Somewhere in this fair land of ours there are probably people who find the Reverend Billy C. Wirtz hilarious. There may even be people out there whose idea of a hysterical song is one about a late-night party in a refrigerator where the oysters are smoking and the eggs are cracking up. Those folks will love "Food Chain of Fools," a boogie-woogie number from Wirtz's A Turn for the Wirtz. Some listeners may even exist who want to hear a parody of Red Sovine's "Phantom 309," with the truck driver's ghost replaced by the wraith of a motel prostitute who saved a busload of Girl Scouts from an exploding magic-fingers machine; those fans will want to hear Wirtz's "Room 309." After all, some people find Bob Hope funny. --Geoffrey Himes --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.
