As producer of this CD I wanted to re-introduce Oregon promoters and booking agents to the Eugene blues tradition that gave birth to nationally known blues musicians from Eugene such as Robert Cray and Curtis Salgado. I also wanted to showcase Eugene blues artists to the rest of the blues world.

Eugene Blues An Anthology was produced by Vipertoons Productions to spotlight Eugene blues artists and Eugene's blues tradition. The CD includes 17 songs from 12 different Eugene soloists or bands and is dedicated to the memory of the longtime KLCC blues DJ Gavin Fox, aka The Rooster.
