Sandy Jones was playing the Juke Joints of Fort Wayne, IN when he wasn't writing blues hits for STAX Records artists. Jones composed hit songs for Albert King and Little Milton. Most Notably Laundromat Blues and Walking the Back Streets. Sandy was born on September 3,1924 in Snow Lake, Arkansas. He started writing after WWII. He said, " I thought I could improve on the blues songs I was hearing on the radio and in the clubs." He taught himself to play piano and writes about real life experiences. The blues is just a story of happy and sad situations, says Sandy. All of these songs are written and produced by Sandy Jones.
