Joyce Weaver - Vocals and rubboard. Joyce is from New Orleans by way of Houston and has been active in Austin music since 1983. She claims her zydeco heritage from her grandmother, who introduced her to that type of music and did strange things with chicken's feet.

Pepe Melancon - Accordion, keyboard & backup vocals. Pepe is from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and learned accordion by sneaking into the juke joints and watching some of the greats in zydeco music such as Clifton Chenier and Beau... read more

Zydecopia is Third Degree's first, last and only CD. All songs were written by Joyce Weaver and Scott Chester. The songs were arranged by the band and their families. The last 2 tracks were co-written and sung by Stanley Anderson, who suddenly passed away before the CD was released. This CD was recorded, produced, arranged and all artwork done in Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World and is a real collectible for any indie enthusiast.
