AC Steel is a veteran Philly guitarist whose first public performances included playing at the Original Electric Factory, opening for Humble Pie & Chicago the night he turned 17, in 1969. He led his band Stockyard, in both Phila and London during 1969-1974. In London he was a member of the Brunning Hall Band , featuring original Savoy Brown pianist Bob Hall, playing shows at the famed Marquee Club. Back in the states, he played with renowned bassist Carmine Rojas (Rod Stewarts bandleader, bassist for David Bowie, Julian Lennon, Patti Labelle, Nona Hendryx) in the funk rock band "Buff". From 1986-1998, AC was a member of Phila's top blues & R&B band, The Dukes of Destiny", authoring many of their songs & giving soul shaking live performances, both as a guitarist & vocalist
