Authentic back-porch Cajun music from septuagenarian musician/singer Paul Dudley Kershaw (from Kaplan, LA), the second cousin of Doug, Rusty, and Sammy of the venerable Kershaw clan. This is an all-acoustic album with Paul on guitar, double-row harmonica, and French & English vocals; Roger Bellow (fiddle and acoustic bass), plus Shrimp City Slim on washboard and drums. Many traditional Cajun favorites delivered with zest and bayou panache. Paul's style hasn't changed since his days growing up in Kaplan in the '30s. Amazing!
