The Howlers were formed in Berkeley, California in the 1980's by Emmett "Ike" Eiland. The band's line up has always consisted of experienced players with "dues paying" credentials (played the Fillmore West, etc.) The Howlers play the blues their own way, no matter what the blues police say!
