This release marks the debut of Martha's Kitchen to the world. After recording with many artists such as Blues legends A.C. Reed and Albert Collins, as well as with Billy Bacon and the Forbidden Pigs, it was time to put out my own CD. With a band of unique players and guests these songs take shape and create that magic you get when the chemistry is right. A lot of men have a story of that one girl who took their heart and dragged it through the mud. Looking back we see a woman with horns and a tail that seems to take joy in our destruction. This may be our way of letting go. Singing about it seems to help.

When traveling there are many hours spent staring at the road. You remember precious moments and feel a longing to get back to the one you love.

Although the words suggest the use of an illegal substance, it's really about stepping away and chilling out.

10. I'll Treat You Right - Tramil
blues shuffle
This song was inspired by a phone conversation I had with a girlfriend of mine when I was on the road. We had a small fight and I called to make up.

11. I'm Set Free - DeMink
R&B power ballad
Finally able to escape that women's spell I can return my heart to it's natural state. With the start of a new day I'm free to love again.

12. You Got To Rock 'Em
funky blues rap
This song has been an inspiration for me throughout my career. Elvin Bishop hits the nail on the head. You have to do something to stand out.
