"Full Circle" is a celebration of the long friendship between trombonist-composer Bob Brookmeyer and tenor saxophonist Ed Dix that started as teenagers growing up in Kansas City, a magic place and time for aspiring young musicians. Although their destinies took them along distinctly different personal, business and musical paths, their close friendship endured. It could be said that this recording has been a work in progress for over 55 years.
