Whispering of Public Opinion
Editorial Reviews His Hillside Maroon project that was put together in 2000 allowed Mark and his bandmates to open for some notable regional bands (Weekend Excursion and Dezeray's Hammer) and share the stage with some popular local bands (Deep River and Brian Wiltsey). Their self-titled CD that came out in early 2001 helped boost Mark's songwriting abilities into the public. The band split, however, and Mark decided to do music on his own. Now, 24 and basing himself out of Burlington, NC, Mark has just completed his first solo CD: Whispering of Public Opinion. The CD is a mix of pop styles and catchy melodies that will have you dancing and singing. His live show largely consists of cover songs at the moment with his originals being played sporadically throughout the long sets. He loves to improv songs and usually does either when the moments strikes or toward the end of his last set. So come out and see a show!!!! He'll love to see you there and singing along.
