I am a 43 year old musician who lives in St.Louis,Mo.I grew up in a small town in Illinois,and started playing guitar at the age of nine. In grade school and high school bands,I also played the trumpet. In later years,at SIU at Edwardsville,I studied jazz and classical guitar.Following that,I joined Streetcorner Symphony. After playing with them for twelve years,I started up my own band. I have opened up for and shared the stage with many musicians. They range from Roy Orbinson,The Neville Brothers,The John Scofield Band,R.L. Burnside,Johnny Johnson,Jean Luc Ponty,Victor Wooten,to Rockers like Nazerith,REO Speedwagon,Billy Corigin,and Yngwie Malmsteem. In Branson,Mo.,I also played with country fiddler,Shoji Tabuchi,for one year.Currently,I work at a guitar shop called Gravity Strings,give guitar lessons,play with my own band,and play in The Smash Band. I have just recently released my fourth c.d.-titled Dysfunctional Family.
