This is Free Rein's second CD, focusing more on the Blues and Jazz feel of the group. Each member has contributed at least two tunes to this cd, making it as diverse as the first cd. You will enjoy the rich texture of Last Fall, and the lyrics are haunting. Rootless Buddha once again shows why Evan is such a great storyteller with his lyrics. John's music composition skills are highlighted in the latin flavor of the tune Little Water, you will get lost in the feel of the tune! For those that are patient, there is a little suprise for you! This cd showcases the maturing songwriting skills and musical development of these three musicians and their special guests. Special thanks to Tom Wetmore, bassist with the John Whelan Band.
