Editorial Reviews "Golden Soul" describes the silky smooth sounds of The Vikings. The Detroit bred vocal trio burst on the scene in the early seventies with the smash hit record, "Vibrations (Made Us Fall In Love)," selling over a million copies worldwide. The still youthful group was attending high school, when the song hit. A storybook tale began when the group signed to Motown Records, as writers and artists. The group's first release hit on the Motowns's Gordy label, "It's Too Much For A Man To Take Too Long," was co-written and produced by the group and Barry & Robert Gordy. The group, consisting of Phillip Taylor, Clifford Moore and Eric McClinton, recently reunited and is recording a new CD, Retro Millennium Renaissance, which includes the single entitled "Vibrations 2001 version" is currently climbing the national record charts.
