Editorial Reviews He has been produced by Grammy award winner Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Imagine, Double Fantasy, several Aerosmith albums, The New York Dolls, Alice Cooper, Supertramp etc.) Mick Ronson (David Bowie, Ian Hunter, Mott the Hoople) produced 8 of Ford's songs, Herb Gart (Don MacLane, American Pie, Janis Ian, etc) and David Krebbs (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Ted Nugent, Journey etc,) acted as management and executive producers. He has recorded and performed with Phoebe Snow (Poetry Man) and recently played live on WBAI, NYC with Phillip Henry (Shaggy, Steel Pulse) and Buzzy Linhart (vibes w/Hendrix "Cry of Love" album and wrote the classic "You Gotta Have Friends", Bette Midler's theme song and on the "Shrek" soundtrack). This is Ford's first solo effort and he is looking forward to the new release coming in summer of 2003 entitled "Ford: Cross 'n Water". The recordings on this C.D. illustrate the diversity of Ford's talents and interests ranging from Faith based songs to Blues, Alternative, Reggae, Country, and Rock.
