There Goes The Neighborhood
Editorial Reviews Here are just a few comments from recent reviews: Catch ND at one of the coolest Blues Do's in the country, The Waterfront Blues Festival July 4th, Portland, Oregon. Neighbor Dave will be releasing his second CD, "Times a Comin", spring of 1999. This CD will feature ALL original material. Neighbor Dave has been selected by the Boise Blues Society as Ambassador to the Blues and represented Idaho as a national semi-finalist at the 1998 International Blues Talent Competition in Memphis, Tennessee on October 23/24. This constitutes the first time Idaho was represented at this event and established Idaho on The Blues Foundations "Blues Map". For a written follow up on this experience visit ND's web site! His beginnings into blues and gospel music were forged in a fire and brimstone Pentecostal church in which his father was Pastor and the house band included Dave, his sister and three brothers. He has played clubs and blues festivals through-out Idaho, either as headliner or opening act for such regional and national names as: Roy Rodgers, Mississippi Bobby Ray Watson, Studebaker John, Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, Smokey Wilson, Percy Strother, and David Wilcox. See Neighbor Dave along with Rory Block and Too Slim and the Taildraggers at the Bronze, Blues and Brews Festival, August 14th, in Joseph, Oregon this summer.
