Editorial Reviews At the age of ten, Sherman began taking guitar lessons. Sherman continued his musical venture by joining a rhythm and blues band at the age of eighteen. Shermans guitar playing is influenced by legends Wes Montgomery, George Benson, B.B. King, Albert King and Carlos Santana. Sherman has performed with contemporary artists Bennie Lattimore, Jimmy Bohorn, Little Beaver, Timmy Thomas and O V Wright just to name a few.

Sherman Hunters musical career began at the age of six, when he was chosen to sing in the adult church choir after several members heard him sing. He was influenced by gospel greats Rev James Cleveland, Dixie Hummingbirds, and Mighty Clouds of Joy.

Old Neighborhood is a mixture of Blues, Jazz and R & B. The CD is produced and arranged by Kevin Foster. Songs written by Kevin Foster, Gary Palmer, James Palmer, Julia Foster and Sherman Hunter. Sherman Hunter created a new sound to cover songs entitled Stormy and Funny How Time Slips Away.
