Produced in Edmonton, in June 2003, with engineer/bass player KORY BURNS Juno award-winning harmonica ace RUSTY REED joins Cook in the studio. Rusty’s played with the likes of Otis Rush, B.B.King and Los Lobos. String wizard CAM NEUFELD also contributes some fine mandolin tracks.

A collection of eleven original songs stripped down to the bare essentials, this country blues flavored disc has a big acoustic sound and covers a lot of roots territory. From the gospel blues groove of "Revelation Blues" to the ragtime bounce of Lemon Grove to the more traditional country bluegrass strains of "Cora-Mae" and "Early Girl", Cook has come up with a sound that is unmistakably his own.
