Pinetop's Boogiemen is an Anglo-American rhythm and blues quartet formed in London in 1986. It showcases tradition rhythm and blues with a line up of vocals, blues harp, guitar, drums and bass. In its club-playing heyday the band featured classic, down-to-the-bone blues covers featuring Magic Sam's "Westside Sound" and the now-classic harp/guitar formula of Buddy Guy and Junior Wells. More recently, Pinetop's convenes each year to record a CD of original blues compositions, including this year's acoustic production: Eagle in Disguise.

Eagle in Disguise is an acoustic blues/rhythm & blues CD recorded with verve and feeling during live studio sessions in London during June 2004. The title of the CD is a malaprop of a song lyric: "like an eagle in the sky."
