Michael is an award winning singer-songwriter living in Richmond, Texas. He serves Williams Trace Baptist Church in teaching ministries,as youth praise and worship leader, and singer-guitarist on the worship team. A native Virginian, his musical roots reach back to the Muscle Shoals sound and southern rock. The CD was tracked in Houston, TX and Richmond, VA and draws the best from some of those cities elite performers. Among them, Columbia recording artist Steve Bassett on piano and Hammond B-3; saxaphonist Eric Demmer (Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's band), Rounder recording artist Mike Sumler on keyboards, Rock "Dr. Rockit" Romano on bass, and veteran drummer Tim Solook of The Houston Jazz Trio. Through shared prayer and hard work, this formidable and eclectic group forged a bond that God blessed duing the 2000 recording project. No two songs are alike and this band may never work together again...but the Church spirit lives in the heart of the listener. Michael is currently working towards a second release for 2002 of "different" praise and worship music and is finishing writing a bible study series based on the Church After Hours theme.
