Every Day is Monday When You've Got the Blues
Editorial Reviews Featuring Miranda, a multidimensional musician with a voice to match, The Monday Blues Revue spreads the gospel of blues learned by Watson from guys like Son Seals, Eddy Clearwater, and Melvin Taylor during his nine years in Chicago. These lessons added to his extensive classic rock, art rock, and jazz repertoire. Mondays live rock and jazz experience provides the rhythmic strength that is the foundation of the blues. Baratz adds spice with soulful harmonica riffs inspired by Chicago blues greats Sonny Boy Williamson, Sugar Blue, and Junior Wells. Experience as a sideman in a band featuring the Tower of Power horn section nurtured his love of the blues. Jack brings piano and organ versatility to The Monday Blues Revue after big band, country and western, and classic rock experience including time touring Southeast Asia in Ferlin Huskys band based out of Taipei, Formosa and work in the competitive New Jersey classic rock scene before coming to Pittsburgh. The members of the The Monday Blues Revue comprise a team that is greater than the sum of its parts by blending their diverse musical backgrounds with the intensity of their love of Americas best known musical form. The result is an exciting, energetic, and entertaining blues feast brought to you by specialists in modern and classic blues "for what ails ya."
