Sammy Davis is a living legend. There isnt a weak song on this disc, it gets my highest recommendation.

Stylistically its hard to nail Davis down because he plays in a variety of blues styles. "Hes a Mississippi Delta bluesman by birthright, but he hung around in Chicago with guys like Reed, Waters and Hooker," Scribner says. "Plus, he loves soul and R&B and country music. Thats what weve tried to represent on the new CD - that Sammy can do it all."
